In The Round

Marina V.,
born in Moscow, Russia, grew up studying martial arts, skiing, computers, skateboarding and, of course, playing music. Influenced by the Beatles & Tchaikovsky, Marina's music style has been described as an unusual mix of Tori Amos, Jewel & Paul McCartney, a magical blend of her angelic voice, hooky melodies, thoughtful lyrics, and fresh chord progressions. Teaming up with co-writer Nick Baker & bringing in legendary producer, Jack Douglas (Aerosmith, John Lennon, etc), Marina has recently released her new album, "Simple Magic." From uptempo & edgy "In My Head", to breathtakingly beautiful "Guardian Angel" to fun & quirky "If I Could Read Your Mind", the album is loaded with fresh musical gems. Marina's music can be heard on MTV (the Real World), films and radio stations such as XM Satellite Radio. Marina's song "Simple Magic" has been recently added to EuroHits channel of DMX, with worldwide daily listening audience of 80 million!

Mary Coppin,
recently opened for Natalie Merchant in Telluride, Colorado and performed on the main stage at the Kerrville Folk Festival. In 2002, she won Song of the Year in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest (Over 30,000 entries). In addition, she took first place in the Troubadour Competition, at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival. Her debut CD, "A Room Up For Rent" was produced by Grammy nominated Jay Donnellan and has received rave reviews. "Mary Coppin's voice has a magical quality, somewhere between Natalie Merchant and The Kinleys that cuts through the ordinary and can literally hush a noisy club. Her Pop/rock/folk songs take you on a journey from evocative questions to joyful answer", Chris Boardman, film composer.
