The Songwriters Studio is proud to present three-time Grammy nominee and five-time Emmy nominee Steve Dorff made his musical breakthrough with Eddie Rabbitt's "Every Which Way But Loose". Dorff's dossier includes nine #1 film songs and 15 Top 10 hits, including the Kenny Rogers' classic "Through The Years," a BMI 3 million performance song, as well as "I Just Fall In Love Again ", the Anne Murray record that captured Billboard's #1 Song Of The Year honors. His many songs have been sung by some of the greatest artists of our time, Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, George Strait, Vanessa Williams, and countless others.

Dorff's film/tv credits include "Murphy Brown", "Murder She Wrote", "Growing Pains", "Alien Nation", "Major Dad", "Columbo", "Reba", "Rocky IV", "Pure Country", "Tin Cup", "Michael", "Dudley Do- Right" and "Curly Sue." Perhaps Dorff's most ambitious move to date has been his first love, the Musical Theater. He currently has 3 projects making their way to the stage, "Say Goodnight" (The love story of George Burns & Gracie Allen), "Heartland" (The stage version of "Pure Country"), and "Josephine" (The Josephine Baker Story). Looking ahead, Dorff fantasizes about writing a film score for one of his son's (Stephen Dorff) movies while his other son Andrew (a gifted singer- songwriter) sings the title song.
