When Bob Woodruff rolled into Music City, USA in his old, beat-up GTO (complete with fuzzy dice and STP stickers on the side) carrying a pocketful of songs, music execs took notice. Stopping even jaded music-biz vets in their tracks with a lyrical grace and street level wallop that's country to the bone, Woodruff was quickly signed to Asylum Records. Dreams & Saturday Nights, (1994) Woodruff's intriguingly titled debut, employed the talents of guitar legend James Burton (Ricky Nelson, Gram Parsons, Elvis Presley), Emmylou Harris on background vocals and former Eagle Bernie on banjo.
... Woodruff re-emerged in 1997 with Desire Road, released on Imprint Records, a new Nashville label. This second collection added a rockier edge to many of Woodruff's compositions, and again drew praise for the artist's insightful songwriting. Desire Road features nine originals, as well as cover versions of John Fogerty's "Almost Saturday Night" and two Arthur Alexander songs, "Every Day I Have To Cry Some" and "If It's Really Got To Be This Way".

"Fiercely melodic singer/songwriter", Jud Duncan, is not your typical LA artist. jud accompanies his eloquent vocals with only bass and percussive instruments such as propane tanks, pizza boxes, trash cans, and wrenches. His inspiring lyrics about love, hope, and letting go provide a raw and uninhibited look into jud`s past and how it fuels his future.
... "…when you stumble across genuine talent clawing their way through the music industry maze, you can`t help but admire them…jud duncan, song craftsman, and soul poet who pays deep respect to previous masters and redifines the concept of do-it-yourself with his impressive debut cd "little world". -david g. collette / micstand mag jan/feb 2003
... "Enter jud duncan... a willowy boy/man, with a little Jeff Buckley in the eyes, and the love child of Peter Gabriel and Sting in the voice......a touching performer who intimately invites you up on stage, just to hang....to crawl around inside his songs." - The LA Music Scene
